In 2002 while working as an intern at the now long gone Luxe Gallery in Hoxton Square with no art background other than being a chef for a while I thought; how can I make work but use the skill set that I had?
At that point I hadn't gone to art school, knew nothing about research or art really apart from Museums, winning an art prize at school and didn't have a computer, I thought by training I am a sous chef I make sauces, so I thought made art that can be consumed.
I met many other artists, gallery owners and slowly got asked to do make a drink for ReDUX gallery Vinyl series - this led to other galleries and artists asking me to make consumable art, in this case strange drinks - not cocktails rather stories about material of the artist's shows in the form of liquid.
